Truman lives on a beautiful island. He has not left this island for his life. On this island, the people lead an enviable utopian life. People living on this island start their day in a happy mood every day and end the day without encountering any problems. Truman’s life is very beautiful, he has a beautiful wife and beautiful friendships. But one day, Truman sees his father walking on the street which he thinks he died and his father disappears again. This event breaks something in Turman’s life. After this event, Truman begins to experience events that will constantly question his life. Truman Show is a strong criticism of the television industry and people’s life.
Truman Show and Quarantine
Although Truman Show does not seem to speak of a quarantine situation directly, Truman is actually closed somewhere. Truman is completely disconnected from the real world and he is not aware of it. He thinks that he lives on a beautiful island, meets people and goes to different places. But what he doesn’t know is that the world he is in is not really a real world, and he was forced into it. There is a different world than the world it is in. But he does not know because he does not have any knowledge about the outside world. It is stuck in a small place. Since they do not want to learn the facts, they do not take him out of the island where he is located. Such years have passed. Although it is not like the quarantine we are in, Truman is stuck on an island.
